Is 14 or 16 years too late to start martial arts like taekwondo, karate, boxing. Maybe a black belt Gottha?
Is 14 or 16 years too late to start martial arts such as taekwondo, karate, boxing, mixed martial arts, kickboxing. If we start at 14, 15 or 16 then we can achieve a black belt or proficieny fully in these arts.
Are you kidding? It is the ideal age to begin training. Any earlier and there are problems with emotional maturity. A later and you tend to have problems with jobs and maintaining a training intensive. It should take between 3 to 5 years to earn a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. It actually took me 6 years to get mine, because I went to college … where I continued to train and take classes … but I wanted to progress through the ranks with the school that I started with.
