What did Royce Gracie in UFC Could this be the battle ground new?
ok this is gonna be short and sweet. I'm probably wrong. Royce introduced ground fighting it kicked @ ss everybodys use it now its still used. could even be done with IE airborne fight against strokes hand and foot jump? give me some reasons why it wouldnt work?
"The fight against Aerial" will not work against a good striker-cons or clips for several reasons: You can be in the air for a tiny fraction of time that you fight and you are on a trajectory given from the moment your feet leave the ground. As a baseball, you can not simply turn in the air and land elsewhere. That leaves an attacker who focuses primarily on Technical jump very vulnerable while in the air. When you move forward in the air, your center of mass is really difficult to defend. Strikes like knees or flying punches Superman may be effective at times, but if you rely exclusively on them, you are open to Counter Strike especially for the body. Also, once you throw a punch, you've made, especially when it fist flight. If the punch misses, and most of the punches to make a point, you are wide open to a clinch / takedown. Think of someone slipping past a superman punch and hit you right in the body with their shoulders for a trip base or double-leg takedown. Relatively easy to do. When you land, you are more likely to be out of balance, and even if you are balanced, your legs and body are compressed, so stationary. If you do not move, you can be reached fairly easily, and if you are off balance, it's even easier. Simply because of the timing and balance issues between a reasonably skilled counter puncher or a grappler would decimate a patient who was on "aerial control.
