Am I too old to start karate?? I’m 14?
I am a 14 year old girl and I went a year ago to see about taking karate classes and everyone my age had been taking it since they were like 6 or 7. They knew so much more than I did so I didn’t want to be in a class where I was the dumbest person in there.
So, am I too old or did I just not see the begginer class when I went. Are there many kids my age that are just now starting?? Are there classes for kids my age just starting??
No way. I started around that age. and it’s much better to start older because if you sensi (teacher) is quite… strict… you’ll be able to handle it better.
