Karate Lesson 1: Discipline and self-control development
My most influential teachers always said that the most important lesson regardless Karate has been fostered greater discipline and self control. They wisely pointed out that in this foundation in place, everything else follows in the order natural.
I'm glad people have started asking questions about discipline and self control in karate, because it is not clear in saying that the practice punches and kicks can lead to an improvement in these areas.
In fact, it almost seems like a paradox that the practice martial arts could develop calm, confident and very disciplined individuals. Are we all fell for the hype that is being touted in the martial arts magazines People or is there really any truth claims of the discipline and increase self-control?
Like anything else, a sustainable change must come from within. No matter how much we all think a person should change, they only change if they believe it is necessary and no amount of training in karate will change that.
However, if you have a person who has acknowledged that he or she needs more discipline and control self, then the martial arts can certainly help. Also, if a parent sees their child is out of control most often they are in control, then the martial arts can certainly provide a possible solution. That is how and why a positive turnaround can happen.
· Arts Martial provide a training system very and a structured methodology for teaching different techniques and exercises. The structure is essential to improve the discipline and being exposed to define the parameters, rules and clear goals, a person can begin to understand the importance of discipline.
· Learning karate is often very attractive to an unruly individual and angry because it seems that the ideal way to learn how hurt and punish others. If such an individual joins a renowned dojo (karate school), he quickly realizes that martial arts are not really about it at all, however, it should also realize that many people in the dojo have exceptional skills of self-defense show still enormous self-control. This type of leadership by example can often have a very positive effect on someone who first went to the fault path.
· All people need some kind of guidance from a higher authority when they find their own way in this world. Many youth turn to gangs, unfortunately, find what kind of brotherhood, but a school of martial arts can offer an alternative with much more desirable outcomes.
The authority figure is of course the instructor if he or she has the charisma and the soothing presence right over them, it can be very inspiring for a young person looking for direction in life. strong discipline and control self in the positive but demanding environment will be natural by-products of the overall experience.
· The discipline comes to a decision engage in something that is emphasized. Becoming a black belt in any martial art has many positive connotations and benefits. There are many stories current Black Belt instructors and even senior who has their whole life around by their involvement in the martial arts. Probably all arts schools martial in the country has at least one student on their roster who can attest to this fact.
· Self-control is to have respect for each other. One of the principles Basic martial arts is respect and if you want to make a quick exit your karate school not show respect to your instructor and your colleagues is a sure way to get there. Conversely, by understanding the importance of respect for everyone around us our self-control can fail to improve.
All the above are, in my opinion, very clear reasons as to why and how martial arts can provide a very positive and rewarding to all those who started their journey on the path of self-improvement.
Let me know if you agree whether the importance of discipline and self control.
