martial arts fight

One of the most claims heard of various martial arts systems and styles devotees claiming that their system allows realistic defense techniques and, in many cases, even claiming he is the best system for self defense. A very bold claim given the unpredictable methods of rogue attack.

The emergence of mixed martial arts as a combat system (which working on the assumption that we accept this mixed martial arts as a separate fighting system like karate or Jiu Jitsu) has generated debate whether he is the best system for self defense.

Certainly, as regards the techniques we train in mixed martial arts, and attributes we develop in our drilling and sparring, it is as far as we train and Spar to a safe level of contact with the methods to be effective in a real street fight.

However, as with all systems of martial arts, he is still training for a scenario of fighting controlled that both fighters have agreed and prepared. There are also rules that prohibit us from using the most effective weapons against targets most debilitating, and a referee to enforce them. In addition, it is a battle against an insured, generally between closely matched opponents in weight and experience, no weapons involved.

Learning Mixed Martial Arts will certainly provide us with techniques to increase our chances of winning in a situation of self defense of the street as we are exposed to a wide range of potential attacks in standup and situations both on the ground.

We must, however, the compliment with components that address these areas that occur in the situation of self-defense but are not sufficiently prepared for when learning martial arts mixed. I would also add that these areas should be addressed in all systems of martial arts who want to responsibly provide their supporters with an effective methodology for self defense.

1) Develop skills awareness of street and you teach your students how to recognize potential hazards, so you can either avoid or be prepared to deal with them.

2) Develop a "non-victim" of mind and body posture to a potential attacker identifies you as that target dangerous and would be better to seek another victim.

3) includes the formation of adrenal stress so as not to "freeze" when a potential aggressor "interviews" you. This is an aspect of self defense that most martial arts schools not responding. The "butterflies in the stomach" effect before the MMA or Muay Thai game is similar, but not the same conditions here control are not controlled and the effect of adrenal stress may be much greater.

4) In addition to fighting skills to be trained safe and train eye gouge, palm heels, grab the throat, groin and knee strikes son confrontation that can be processed as quickly and effectively as possible.

5) Develop effective strategies to safeguard permanent if the fight goes to ground and deal with several attackers — Do not kid yourself this is tough, even if you are a seasoned fighter.

6) Street effective preventive attack "this reconciliation" and cover a wide spectrum of defensive techniques that you will be the opponent with a high probability of establishing control.

In short, mixed martial arts can provide a very effective technique and basic attribute struggle to defend itself, however, you must complete your self-defense training striking specific tools and a spirit of fear management psychologically set.

Most systems of Arts Martial offer some degree of ability in self-defense, but only if they meet the actual conditions in a street situation and what belongs to any system you undertake in learning martial arts.

For a more in depth look on this approximation these strategies check out my comprehensive resources "Mastering the Danger Zone" DVD series full of concepts and techniques and set ups "Bridging the Gap "in Muay Thai, Mixed Martial Arts and street fighting self-employed where the defense will put you far ahead of the game when learning Mixed Martial Arts and Muay Thai.

He’s perhaps best known for his score to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, which shares with Hero a visual poetry that transcends the sword-filled action film genre. In Crouching Tiger, Tan Dun’s music was often striking. In Hero he often lapses into repetition and cliché, a failing compensated f…
