martial arts training

Often, we can be our worst enemy because we project all of our negative attitudes on the outside of people and situations and say that I do not like that. We do not want to admit that some of the worst things we dislike about the world are already within us as our very own attitudes.

This is particularly true when it comes to fear. Fear is a shadow that is very elusive. It takes many forms and when you think you've sussed and know how it looks. it changes shape and you escape. We banish insecurity and another one takes its place. This is because fear is profound and can often have their origins in childhood or experience traumatic. But should we try to dig in and get rid of these fears in us? I personally have never believed years of any kind of therapy to achieve.

Have you ever met someone who was very afraid?

I must admit that I am not brave. There are several things that scare me. Some days I feel stronger than others and sometimes I could convince myself that I am without fear, but not for long. I only met one person who was like that and I've never forgotten. This guy was so open to life and what it May report that took my breath away. The thing was that it was not a bruiser.

It was a little man and one of the best martial artists I have ever seen. And he was gentle and friendly to everyone. He did not need or want to throw his weight around. Its presence all is said and there seemed no harm would come his way. One day as we sat near the sea, I asked him what made him so calm and confident.

He said there was a real fear was the fear of dying. Every defeat, every loss of face, all the humiliation was just fear of dying in a small way and that to overcome what we need to accept that what we are – our ego – must die. He was to leave our true self without fear our self in his place.

While fear is a good thing for a martial artist to have? Â

I think we should try to ignore our concerns, whatever they may be in May, but work to accept. If we know that sometimes you feel nervous, anxious or filled with some negativity, then we can begin to accept that feeling and allow it to be here. The more we beat us something, the more it seems to hang on and get a grip on us. Finally, we may realize that fear is a sign that we want something that must go. Only then we are free in May of that shadow.
