Iceman Chuck Liddell was born December 17, 1969 in Santa Barbara, California, is a mixed martial artist, a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and a former UFC light-heavyweight champion. Liddell is known for his standup fighting techniques and take down defense and ability to knockout in MMA circles. Liddell fights versatility and endurance earned him the nickname of The Iceman, and have furthered his career as a budding actor, which includes, among others, recently published commercial for Dell computers and an appearance in a music video for the band Nickleback.
Liddell began his training at the age of twelve years, beginning with Koei-Kan Karate, and went on to become four years of starting the football team from San Marcos High School, and later a wrestler in Division I at California Polytechnic State University, where he earned a BA in business and accounting in 1995.
